A God Thing

Everybody know how the Jedi Master/Padawan ‘thing’ functions?  Good.  If you don’t, you probably haven’t spent much time on this blog, have you? But I guess there’s always Google if you get desperately stuck.  So here goes.

Technically, one could put it that Jesus is every Padawan’s dream Master.

He chooses you, and you only accept or refuse.

He can teach you anything you are willing to learn.  Sometimes the lessons are hard, but he won’t give you more than you can handle.

He knows everything there is to know.

He never makes you feel stupid, but explains things in words you’ll understand.

He is the strongest, bravest, cleverest, most kind, gentle, just being imaginable.

He is always, guaranteed, absolutely and completely right.

He was willing to suffer hugely so you don’t ever have to lose sight of him for an instant.

Whatever you’re going through, he knows how it feels and is there to listen.

He will ‘let you cry without telling you to get a grip’.  (And if you recognize that quote, I love you forever.)

He is always glad to hear from you – whatever inane thing it is you have to say at that particular moment.

He shows you what it means to be good – not tells, shows.

See why I love the guy?
